Garbled Text
 

I've been seeing some garbled text lately. I believe it's mostly apostrophe's, but I'm not completely sure on that. See the photo below. I've seen similar cases on multiple threads from different users.

Oh yeah, me too! I've just been ignoring it but I guess I'll start grabbing screenshots... Ah, here's one that just started happening...

That title used to look normal...

I thought this only happened in my posts, one of which you quoted above. I?m glad to see it?s not just me.

When I?m in the garage, I post from iOS using the Brave browser.

When I?m in the house, I post from MacOS, also using Brave.

Occasionally, when I have the tuning laptop out, I post from Windows, also using Brave.

I haven?t figured out why apostrophes work right sometimes, but not others.

I'm in the house for this post. It's cold in here. And there are wolves after me.

But hopefully this'll help things: this is MacOS.

Well now there are "?" symbols everywhere, not sure if that was intentional.

Nope, I do not have it. But it does seem to be an iOS thing.

Thank you for bringing this up. I thought it was just my account acting up.

If the sysadmins read this, I'm guessing you upgraded MySQL servers recently and the default charset changed. That should put you on the right debugging path but DM if you want more info.
