+1 if this if not an April Fool's joke. I just cancelled my auto-renew. I can't take a joke.

I'm melting my turbo gear and getting an FFS kit.

the site could be run by Kim Jong Un and I would still not recommend that course of action.

I still subscribe because I like the duck under my username and amount of PMs you can store. For the rest, whatevs... Supporting Rick, making the site better and making canadian jokes at his expense ok. Handing my money over to some large company buying forums, ---- that. I'll go clean out my PM box..

/dramaqueen.

Well, I cancelled my subscription but I'm paid until August. We will see how it shakes out and if all is well I can always renew. I'd hate to forget later if I did decided to get out and missed the cancellation date.

Hate if you want. It's the only paid subscription to a site that I had, which says something.

Hmmm...is there a chance MT can be "dropped" if there are no more subscriptions from members?

I'd hate to lose Eva01 but I liked paying money to Sir Rick-a-lot because he was my homie.

I'd rather get people like Emilio back than gritty 80s playboy scans. But that's just me

Same here.

This is also my only paid subscription. I only subscribed to a magazine because it went to a good cause.

Honestly you guys need to give this switchover time to take effect before you cut off subscriptions and bitch about the new corporate overlords. From what the the staff has heard, next to nothing will be changing. IBNolan the new admin that has spoken to the staff has been very cool.

To the staff, exactly. Nothing to the faithful paying peasants here.

Like I said, I'm paid to August. I will wait and see, but as scatterbrained as I am I'd forget to cancel if indeed I had decided to do so and be sucked in for another year. As soon as I lose my avatar I'll know that I'm expired and I can make a rational decision then instead of "oops, I guess I'm still a subscriber" when my renewal email comes through from Paypal.

Just FYI guys below is a quote of one of the comments Nolan has made to the staff. If it is any indication of how they plan on running the site there should be no major issues.

Guess I'm not going to renew my membership because it won't let me.

I click on the stupid link, it opens paypal login and after I type my user/pw it just gives me a page with a single button "Return to Merchant." Clicking that just takes me back here in a god damn loop.
