Default Mobile phone ads.

This screen shots shows what it looks like to post on a phone. It's pretty ******* useless and needs to be fixed. I'm getting way way over it.

Dude that was in mobile view.

Thats what it looks like every single time I have to post on a phone, the keyboard takes up 75% of the screen like every phone and then the add takes up all of the rest so I have no idea what Im typing.

And yet people mock me for continuing to use a slider phone with a physical QWERTY keybord...

(Not a picture of my actual phone, but of one exactly like it. The only camera I have with me is the one in my phone, and when I set up an array of mirrors to allow me to take a picture of my phone with my phone, it created a sort of recursion loop. I barely escaped with my life, and I think I may now be my grandfather's uncle. The phone is also now covered in a warm, pink goo which is whispering to me in a language that I cannot understand.)

I wish I could buy a new slider.

In fact My favourite phone even for browsing forums is the Nokia E63, but you just cannot get them anymore on the second hand market.

So what can be done?

You would have seen in the wiki thread I also pointed out I couldnt see anything I was typing.

Im getting WAY WAY over it.

It is disappointing. For a while the ads will disappear, then they'll be back. I've decided that Internet Brands (or somebody at IB) is either criminal or numbingly stupid. I mean if they truly can't manage to keep the ads out for paying members, then they really are stupid.

Either that, or they hope we'll eventually give up bitching about it.

As I've said before, I have no issue with the owner of any web site collecting advertising revenue. BUT, they've also collected money from some of us to remove the ads. In simple terms, they've accepted money for a service and are (perhaps) deliberately not providing that service.

WTF!?! What legal action can we take? Seriously, there must be something. Who has ideas?

Serious answer: Contact Braineack. He's the site admin.

Friendly public-service announcement: if I see that your eleventh post is a for-sale ad in the classifieds, it will be your last. For that matter, if I see that your sixth through tenth posts are also worthless drivel, I won't even wait for the eleventh.

Pop up ads on my mobile device on three threads tonight.

I didn't think to pay too much attention to the first occurrence.

Second thread - https://www.miataturbo.net/diy-turbo...-thread-66376/

Third thread - this one

It's the same pop up asking if I'm looking for OpenX and it's annoying as hell.
