Can we institute a ban on people selling non-Miata items in the FS section?

Default Can we institute a ban on people selling non-Miata items in the FS section?

I bought a set of 550cc injectors from a guy here, ASSuming they fit the car because they were advertised in the Miata section. Of course, the guy tells me after I go to install them that "oh yeah, they were from a Honda." Great. I won't name names since he has offered to give me a full refund, but it's still damn annoying.

Now we have our resident shitstain, 1990miata1.fuckery, advertising some POS 630cc Siemens injectors - and I only know they are made by Siemens because I Googled them, which he couldn't even be bothered to do. He doesn't make any mention of whether they will fit, or whether he even knows they will fit, until pressured about it several posts later.

Can we ban **** like this? I come to the classifieds to buy **** for my Miata, not some useless garbage that some ******* found in his garage and wants to pawn off on the forum.

first go find out who the person that asked for that section was and flame their request thread. then we'll talk.

I've been waiting to see how long it was gonna take until he was banned. I cant even believe some of the posts he makes. Especially his for sale threads where he price bumps them every half hour. Sometimes I go to post a reply, but usually I just tell me self not to waste my time. I figured the mods would get aggravated sooner or later and clean up shop.

Agreed. The kid has an iq of 2. Complete ******* retard. He can not even put together a coherent sentence or spell a word correctly. I'm not saying he should be banned, but its really annoying.

I was surprised he didn't get banned a LONG time ago...so I just learned to put up with him.

I understand your aggravation Savington, but as many others told me when I bought a "Miata rollbar upgrade for your NA" that arrived at my door and was a friggin' NB rear sway:

You have to verify what it is you're buying.

It's too easy to get excited, and you're actually lucky you're getting a refund. I went round after round with this seller and just had to live with it.

Sorry about your misfortune there, it's a crummy lesson.

I'm all for banning ***** that abuse our forum. We do come in expecting to see parts for sale that are actually USEFUL to us. If we didn't expect that we might as well just combine all those ebay listings with the FS section.

That should be posted in the
Stuff for sale/trade

"Sell your non-miata related stuff here."

I've used many honda injecters in my Miatas before. What Honda are they for?

That's not the point, its the fact that the seller doesn't know what the application is for and makes no mention of that in the original post.

I'll see if I can't keep a closer eye on what goes in the miataspecific 4sale section.

I've got a set of 550cc RC injectors that are low impedance, but come with the ballast resistors. These WILL fit in a Miata, I would recommend getting them cleaned as I never ran them personally. Came out of a friends older FMII/Link setup.

Make me an offer.

clearly the solution to selling non-miata parts in the miata-for-sale section is to sell miata-specific parts in the FRONT DESK section.

1990miata1.6:

if it was an accident and you honestly didn't know they wouldn't fit....

APOLOGIZE.

because as far as your post is concerned, there are a lot of things wrong with it. and not just spelling. honestly, how is calling people names and egregiously mis-analyzing the state of the economy and implying we're all elitists really solve the problem of you being ignorant about the application of the injectors???

It does not.
