water, alky injection section?

srtforums has one, and it gets plenty of traffic.

I think it'd work well here too, seeing as there are several of us here using the blue stuff

:bigtu:

I think it would be pretty cool. There would be lots of good info for people that are at least curious and it would be broken up, instead of the group buy thread, which is just a lot packed into a small space. I would try and post on there as much as possible.

I thought of it when I was going to start a thread for a problem with my setup. I was going "hmm, is this general miata, DIY talk, insert BS?" If there was a section it'd be easy.

It would be a cool idea for sure. The only thing is that of the dozen+ kits that went to members here there are maybe 3 up and running so it would be pretty weak. For now just post installation pics in Neogenesis install thread in the DIY forum.

I would love to see a section dedicated to WI. I'm installing the base kit on thursday. Walbro 190 hp & a progressive devils own kit are my first planned upgrades, as well as s13 ka sohc injectors (almost identical to 1.8's with like 5-10ccs more flow). I was a skeptic untill I saw how much timing you can run while boosting, and I would like others to learn more about it instead of being as closed minded as I was.

Maybe add it as a sub-forum in the DIY section??? Just a thought...

Thanks Philip:)

#4 should be up shortly. I started on Saturday, which took a while since I decided to clean up all the wiring behind the dash (EMU, radio, gauges, garage door opener...) and also to run a new +12 line directly from the battery up to the controller. I cut the big black wire that normally goes to the power antenna, plugged it into a relay, and ran the output alongside the antenna lead (above the tunnel) to get to the center console. To control the relay, I just commandeered the signal wire that normally turns on the power antenna. Also fabricated a new panel for below the radio to hold the controller in addition to everything else that's down there, and got the wire run from that to the engine bay (planning to hang the pump in the right front wheel well). So at this point I just have to assemble the dash panel, install the pump, and run the tubing.

Sunday was a whole different stoty- finally got my 1.8 Torsen diff installed. :D

I'm planning for now to run blue washer fluid straight off the stock non-ABS washer bottle. I'm a little concerned about the small capacity of this bottle however- like to find something bigger to put there ultimately. Anybody have some anecdotal experience concerning how many litres of washer fluid you typically go through on a tank (10gal) of gasoline?

WideOpen- do you know if the dimensions of the 4 qt bottle (10" x 8 1/2" x 4 1/4") on the DevilsOwn site are overall dims, including the flange and filler cap? I’m thinking if I relocate my fuel lines that bottle *might* fit.

I have a 2.5 gallon tank and really don't even see how much I am using, maybe a 1/4 gallon a day, probably more, depending on how much I drive.
