It's not just him. I've been having the same issue the past few days. I'm on the road right now, and it works fine from my laptop (it remembers me) but from this PC here in one of the racks (using IE 6) I usually just get the "Welcome" screen, and then back to being not signed in.

Seems the difference this time was that I logged in while looking at the OP's message, not from the top-level screen

its been doing the same from my work desktop, i think if you delete your cookies thats when it happens, it asks you to log in even though you are already logged in...
the way i work around it is i just click on a thread and then click on forum home
good luck to all, let me know how it can be fixed...

ps-dont have the issues from lap top, but i never deleted the cookies from it...

I dealt with this at school as well. It is a new issue that I hadn't dealt with until... 2 weeks ago I suppose at the most.
I too noticed that if I went to a thread i could log in and stay logged in. I also noticed if I clicked on the "forward me to the page I don't want to wait" link it would bring me to the homepage and make me login again.

I also started having the same problem at about the same time. I tried clearing cookies and cache, still the same issue.

Workaround - when you first connect to the page, if you are not logged in, click on the big miataturbo.net logo at the upper left corner of the page. That works for me.

Score one for Overland Park, Kansas, & the world!

This only happens on the main page. If you click on the any of the forum links you will see you are actually logged in.

The problem is the main page seems to ignore the cookie.

Why did this change?

Issue should be resolved.

At least one of the issues of people not using the www. is resolved.
