For a noob like me, what separates this from other MMO rpgs? A breif list of MMOs I've played:
WOW for like 3 years. Never again.
Rift for like 6 months. Was fun.
GW2 for a few months. Was okay.
TERA for a few days. Meh.
I feel like this would bore me unless it has something new and innovative.

The class system is cool, you won't be stuck to one class the entire time. For one, you'll want to use some skills from other classes on your "main". Two, you need to level up multiple classes to get to sub-classes such as bard, paladin, dragoon, etc. There are a lot of other reasons, some that will probably come into play during end-game content.
The crafting and gathering systems are really cool and almost refreshing vs other games. You level up the character as the certain profession, obtain different gear to wear to help improve whichever job it is.
Lastly, they can always pull the nostalgic card with the FF series.
I meant to post up my twitch on here and you guys could of watched my stream on closed beta. Ah well, open beta will be in like 2 weeks.
