Guess I spoke too soon. I got my beta invite this weekend! Been playing a bit today, but there are SERIOUS issues with the servers. This is the #1 reason why I did not want this to be an online only game.
Since getting the beta downloaded and installed, I've played maybe a total of 3 hours this whole weekend. Not bad I guess, but getting disconnected from the server, and not being able to login for an extended amount of time because the servers are at capacity... I'm beginning to wonder if this kinda shit is going to happen when the game goes live. It probably won't, but that doesn't make me any less irritated right now :P
Initial impressions? Game is pretty damn fun. Started with a witch doctor and pwnd very easily. Then I started a Barbarian, and I've been getting my ass kicked for the most part.
Might try a monk next, maybe a wizard. We'll see. :)
