Fanatec's expensive though. At least for GT5 you could use the $100 Driving Force GT wheel.

yes but it doesn't work the 360

the fanatec supports 360\pc\ps3 with force feedback support on all platforms

Thats the point I was making in that GT5 is better in that aspect. The equipment to enjoy GT5 is less expensive than the equipment to enjoy Forza, but at the same time as previously stated, Forza is more enjoyable without said equipment - just a controller - whereas GT5 is not, unless you spend at least $100.

Point: 360 needs less expensive equipment.

I got a 360 wireless wheel off craigslist for F3 and it was pretty fun using that. Much better than the controller, at least. I'm still not sure if I'll get F4 since I never even beat the last game with the billions of races to do. I hated all the stupid ricer touge races.

The way you form your point means that the 360 equipment required for enjoyment is cheaper than PS3 equipment. A 360 controller only costs $40.

Even the force feedback microsoft wheel is worlds better than a controller. You don't need 900 degrees of rotation. The way companies market 900 degrees of rotation as a good feature is silly.

To the OP: Porsche being nixed might do it for me. That was one of the things that I liked about Forza, the fact that Porsche was in it. Im getting tired of EA buying exclusive rights to things. Unless they are coming out with another Porsche Unleashed game, EA can stuff it for all I care.

There's better cars out there.

I don't get forza to do the single player, I buy it for multi player, for endurance racing.

I never really tried playing online since my cars probably aren't set up to the max potential for whatever class they fall in. I feel like the time or two I tried playing online I'd get destroyed because of it and there were a bunch of cookie cutter type cars that I didn't get the memo on.

No racing game has ever gotten online racing right. Not sure they ever could though. Always has to be bastards who are more interested in wrecking people than racing. Or when they do race, they race unrealistically aggressively, running you off track or ramming you to get ahead. If you get past all of that, you still end up with minor lag and jitter, no matter how good the connection. Cars in both GT and Forza float around, and you don't have a very accurate indication of where the car actually is, so it's easy to hit other people when trying to just get close.

Online video games = teenage boys (or adults with a teen mind) intent on cheating or just want to ruin other peoples day because they think it's funny IE; Grieffer

I like to play the game and get better than others. Not just **** with people cause I suck. The main reason I don't play Call o Duty, any generation of it. Battlefield 3 however I will be rocking naked, on the couch, a little drunk, and laughing at 13 year olds running around in a rocket launcher sight

At Sebring I witnessed some cutting on corners 15/16. A few cones were scattered on track and off into the grass. Seeing a path between the standing cones each time by wasn't cool. And I got my *** kicked.

But I'm sure everyone does it. Oh ****! I bet you can jump straight over the corkscrew lol.

if you want to race online aganist others you guys need to find a race organization that has rules and upholds them

I do 2 hour races normally or 2 1 hour back to back races usually.

I do hate the cheating in public lobbies.
