Have not picked it up yet as soon as I do I will run my life and make me want to cut my self from bugs. Soon as some big patches come out i will be all over it.

The bugs actually killed the MOD for me. I had some pretty awesome ****, they had just fixed the "die on login" bug, and I was rocking and rolling waiting for them to fix the "tent" bug. I logged into a promising looking server and died on login. The server was still one genration behind on server updates. I was in the far north when I died. About 1/3 of the way through my northbound run to my body, some PKers started running me down - the first one called his buddy who picked him up in a car before they continued following me. In case you don't know, running 25km through a full scale map in real time trying not to dehydrate or starve to death with no weapons while a mounted buddy team is trying to kill you for sport in ghille suits with sniper rifles all because a server bugged....it's no fun. It would have been completely different if someone had originally killed me instead of a server bug. I would have known it was pointless to try to find my body. Instead, there was a MK48 Mod0 with 300 rds of ammo rotting away on a hillside.
When I did finally come to where I had died, I couldn't relocate my body. And my hourlong death-run turned out to be in vain...it's no fun.
Since the game was no longer fun, I no longer played.

I'm tired and dying of thrist, but I've found 5 pairs of pants!!!!
Lol, haven't played much but the guys I play BF4 with play this quite a bit. I'm sure I'll be into it once everything is polished.

You either die a hiker or you live long enough to see yourself become a serial killer murdering hikers.
Getting shot for beans: the video game
The best open world hiking, mugging, pant stealing and force feeding simulator there is! 10/10

There have been a few decent updates. Less death on spawn. So far has consumed my nights and I look forward to more as it gets updated. Never played only watched the Mod version. So far been trying to stay to low number of players servers and trying to get a feel for the game. It is absolutely terrifying to play at 2am, in the dark, after a few. Feeling like no one is around only to hear a gunshot and run, or to turn a corner and another player is standing there and waiting.

That's what I love about it. The Arma engine isn't the best FPS engine, but it's damn immersive. The sounds are even better than they were in Arma 2/the mod, I think the SA sounds are even better than the JSRS sound mod for Arma 2. It's the only game I've ever played where I felt bad about killing someone.

My favorite part about sounds is when you hit something with a baseball bat and it sounds like gunfire.
game looks like it's for a bunch of submissives to run around with their trousers off and hope to get tied up.

I love how 7 of the top 10 selling games on Steam are indie games, the top two being DayZ and Rust. BOTH only in alpha...
Suck on that console gamers, major game developers, and all $60 games.
