wow, i have not even thought about this game in a looooooooooong time.

Overall was pretty fun, but tbh ate up too much time for me now days. Worth a shot though still with no monthly sub and they have apparently been releasing content according to my emails.

 

I play(a lot recently)
3 80's, ranger, warrior, mesmer, and working on a 4th.
I still hop back to GW1 which I think is better.

 

I havent played it in about a year now. The game just seems like leveling is useless. The fact that you get exactly the same.. everything when max level vs lvl 1 is a big drawback.

You join pvp, everybody has the exact same gear. You drop into a dungeon, you're automatically max lvl or you drop to a lower area and you're automatically scaled down.
You get the same rewards as far as money goes for lvl 1 vs max level.

Also everything is made for a group game. Questing on your own is horrible since everything respawns way too fast for single player.

I like firefall better.

 

Nice, a couple of guys in my IT Dept still hop on.

I've never been big on mmo/rpg WoW types of games.

The only OTHER game I've actually devoted time into is Dekaron.

Last time i updated GW was about 3 months ago, i played roughly an hour and logged off. Havent played it since

 

I'm not a HUGE player on GW2 but my buddy at work is telling me that things have changed recently how they setup the game. IE like the story, less grindy when you start a new character etc.
