Do you guys play with baddies? Tempted to go with SC2 instead of TF2 now.

baddies? I play with skill. Solid gold level of skill and play against those of similar or greater skill.

when I play 4v4 matches, I tend to play with morons and have completely focused on 1v1 play.

I still have your id on my account, just stopped playing 1v1s lately. freaking custom games man.

I play nexus wars every now and again, but I'm all about climbing the 1v1 ladder now.

yep. Im pretty focused on sc2. I have tons of fun playing, you really need a ---- ton of skills to play well. I watch casts daily and learn from the pros, I learn all the builds and timings as well as what to expect from the opponent with scouting and how to counter his builds.

Wow Brainy, that's way more than I'm willing to put into a video game. I think you MT SC2 players are a bit out of my league if I pick up SC2!

I think I played with you guys maybe a few times. I'm going to try to snag some time tonight and try some zerg builds if youre down/around to try me.

The casts are throughly entertaining. I'm honestly not that great at the game. I'm good, which drives me to be better. I typically dominate FPS games like CS or BF2/3

We did a 8 person tournament a few months back, and the two guys that joined from CR dominate us. So we all aint that great.

It's funny cause I've played warcraft and even SC1, but never got into like this. Im pretty much obsessed with the game.

i remember trying to get a tourny going when i first joined up, but by the time the tourny actually happened, i think i was off the forum since i sold my first miata. wouldnt mind another one. i used to do screddit tournys all the time. i was in a team after doing a few of those, but got kicked since i was off doing my own thing.

I'm going to finish my placements tonight. I think I'll sand bag them so I can enjoy some bronze league trolling.

Bronze is full of cheese. It's not even fun. I'm in gold working on plat, rank 10 or so as of this morning.

good tip! I actually just did 7 drone rush and won. i think the my MMR is bronze league already if I can win with that.

here's my zvz build:

13 gas
13 pool
15 overlord

when pool is done, get speed and queens. pull 2 drones off gas.

then build only lings rallied outside of opp. base.

23 overlord

more lings.

sneak in a few drones when you can, get a second hatch when you have a remainder of 300. keep up with injects, switch to bane if he doesn't go roach. deny his expo.

dont go hog wild on baneling. build 3 at the most, you need very good micro. but you should overwhelm him if he wasn't ready for an all out assault. kill his queen(s), snipe lings, and eventually kill off workers.

pretty high win rate with it.
