Its out! It is basically a remake of the original Half Life, except with amazing attention to detail. Also, 100% FREE! If you've been waiting to play the original, don't do it now. Play this!

Black Mesa: Re-visit the world that started the Half-Life continuum

I am downloading it from my seedbox now. I should be installing and playing and about half and hour. I have been doing my duty to seed the torrent since it first become available. I think I have a pretty good ratio on it now.

Yeah, that's not a bad ratio.

Dat throughput. Pretty sure my isp would cut service if I used that much data.

I have a seedbox in the Netherlands. There are no data limits what so ever and my upload and download speeds are limited to 73.3MB/s. The only downside is that I am limited to about 125GB of HD space which sucks.

Right now I am just waiting on my shitty Comcast connection to download it from there. The stupid 1MB/s is killing me.

Now I'm not as envious. I dled it at over 2MB/s.

Used to use buttorrent, and later utorrent/microtorrent. Now I use tixati and love it. It gives you a lot of control.

What is this "control" you speak of?

You have a lot of options for prioritizing and throttling. Helps me not crash my router without giving up much bandwidth. Plus the GUI is really nice, lots of data and graphs.

Eh. utorrent has prioritization and connection-limiting options for such purposes. Not sure about the graphs.

FAWK. Game is crashing every time I turn on the big fan thingy during Blast Pit. It is broken.

Then I googled the issue. Turns out a crate that I intentionally left on the fan was the cause. Smash crate, game fixed. I <3 you, crowbar.

Im not saying uTorrent s bad or anything. Its great, I used it for a long time.
I like Tixati more, it does a lot more and is especially handy if you want to host your own torrents.
If I wanted to show everything that it could do Id have to take like 100 screen shots. You really just have to use it to see what I mean.

Starting playing and all I gotta say is Nostalgia +++++++++++. Last time I played it I was 15. I cannot believe how amazing the game looks updated. Yes, its no deus ex or crisis or far cry, but given what was and what is now, its unbelievable. I could easily imagine this game selling as many copies as the first time if not more if valve had made it officially.

I shall check it out.

I'm in the waste treatment facility. Freaking out while getting swept around in underwater currents, hoping not to get eviscerated by a giant turbine.
