Turbo + Winter DD ?
I have found a few 94/95 cars popping up at the right price lately to make me want to dump the 96 I have and go for a begi turbo setup on one of the earlier cars. I know those years are optimal but I want to make sure I don't turn my daily driver into a fair weather friend. I am planning on moving back to central pennsylvania for school and the last winter I spent up there the temps stayed around 15-20 degrees sometimes, and I want a reliable car that can get me to class on a day like that. I've got a good set of snow tires but I want to know what MT recommends for engine management for a daily driven turbo miata in winter. I haven't tuned a megasquirt system before but I would have all summer to play with it and get it right, but if I remember correctly MS doesn't adjust well to frigid temps? Should I try an FMU instead?

cold start issues were over two years ago when people were first starting with MS and didn't tune the settings correctly.
I had no issues starting my car in 25-30*F weather with winter, the very few times i needed to that is.
