1.8 Injectors in- a few questions.

Ok so on sunday i installed my 1.8 tan top injectors, and while i was in there i cleaned my IAC valve.

1.The injectors seem to be "ticking", kind of like lifter tick but louder and kind of a different sound.... i can actually hear it inside of the car. Ive heard of this, and im just checking to see if theres anything i can do about it, and mainly if its bad.

2.After cleaning the IAC the idle was a LITTLE better, but still was being stupid, so i jumped TEN and GND and set the idle to about 900. Now coming to a stop the idle wont wait at 1600ish, it will go straight to 900 BUT sometimes it will drop to 400, up to 1100, down to 400, then finnaly settle. Before someone says vaccume leak, i have checked with many cans of carb cleaner on every pipe, coupler, and i even sprayed the whole intercooler down as well as my BOV and all vaccume lines i could find. I seriously do not think its a vaccume leak. Am i not setting the idle right while jumping TEN and GND?

3.This might actually have somehting to do with my idle problem, when jumping TEN and GND my check engine light threw a code, it was 1 long flash, and 5 fast ones. If someone could tell me what this is saying please do, or link me a list of codes =) (perhaps an 02 going out? Could this kill my idle?)

Please help me on this, its not as annoying as before- but it still gets on my nerves when my car almost dies when i stop at a stoplight. (the car runs amazingly at high rpms, at 7psi it pulls like a banshee.)

Thanks a ton in advance, i really appreciate all the help this site has given me!

It could be a very old code. Clear it, drive for a week and see if it comes back.

put your hand over your BOV while idling....does it get stuck?

Oh and its a new code for sure- every morning the CEL comes on while the car is cold, and i had just had the battery d/c'd last weekend.
