1/(Power To Weight) Chart

I wrote this up to get an idea where I was at, which I thought to share.
The chart goes from 100 to 400 hp and from 1400 to 2400 LBS https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1378599290 |

power to weight is not everything
sure my car has higher power to weight than a Viper ACR but it doesn't get any traction, so you can't compare. It does blow my mind that a 2200lb miata with fat 200lb driver making 400whp has same power to weight as a 430lb superbike with 200lb rider making 105whp (i.e. typical 600cc superbike) |

Aside from that, it only goes up to 2400 lbs. My car weighs 2510 with me sitting in it.

That's a cool chart, but it's 2013 and everyone carries a smartphone. Type the weight of your car divided by your hp into google and it will give you your power to weight.
