1990 miata no spark
 

ok so i live out here in phoenix AZ and one of the worst things happened yesterday my miata got flooded out in about a foot and a half of water in the parking lot at work due to shitty drainage so here the problem stand i let it sit a good amount of time in the sun with hood open and top down doors open to dry.. so i went to start it and bang it fired up mind you it was running like complete shit revving high then it would drop to the point of almost stalling then rev high again it did this for two minutes then shut off now i have no spark ive checked my under the dash fuses ecu one is fine..basically i would like to know a good starting point on troubleshooting this issue

Sounds like an electrical issue. Probably from testing your Miata as a boat.
