1997 Guage Cluster Ribbon Tear
Replaced my dash with a non-cracked dash, plugged everything back in and tachometer, oil pressure, temp and fuel guage weren't working.
Checked all connectors then heard of ign wire getting burned on the cluster sheet. Well, mines not burnt but definitely torn. (See pic) How do I fix this? |

End of the day it's a conductive trace, just printed with a metal ink on a flexible material as opposed to deposited on silicon.
My 2¢ take an exacto knife or razor, scrap the polymer off the top until you have exposed the trace on either side of the tear and just jump it with a bit of wire and some solder. Just be mindful of soldering iron temp and proximity to the (what I'm assuming is a) polymer substrate. |

Something like this may do the trick
