2 quick questions, bov sound and o2 clamp
 

Ok, two really quick questions

1. Will changing from the etd cross over to
A full front mount change or affect the sound which is emmited from my vta bov?
I've come to love the sound it makes and
I would not like to change it


2. I have the olderguy o2 clamp,
I messaged olderguy, he gave me a pretty good description,
I just want to make sure
I'm not sure what exactly I'm supposed
To have, it came with a small black plastic box,
With three wires coming from it
And a small plug, not connected to it, no wires,
But 3 prongs and a , what looks like a vac hose adapter
no instructions,
Ide like to get a detailed instruction to install it
Pictures would be awsome,
I can't seem to find any,

Why are you venting the BOV with the AFM still in place? :nono:

well, two reasons,

1. i have yet to get around to tapping my pipe b4 the turbo

and

2. im a ricer lol

Adding a fmic might add a tad bit more duration to the venting sound as the turbo will have to spin faster to make the same amount of boost in the manifold.

BTW, you'll love it when you do finally recirculate, it adds to driveability tremendously. Though it'll be a whole lot quieter, depending on what bypass valve you go with.

ok, so i just put in a boost gauge,
seeing as i drove it almost all week without one
i have a rock solid 4psi, not a smidge more

4psi. Can you even feel that?

a little, its subtle, like around 4k? maybe? feels like im running higher octane fuel or somthing

so yea, im wondering y only 4, maybe since its stock exhaust? maybe the waste gate isnt tight? doesnt rattle, no play or anything,, hmmmm, ill look into it tom

I'm not sure how to wire in the o2 sensor stand alone. I installed it on the Emanage Blue.

The vacuum adapter is the pressure switch. You use that to trip the switch when you go into boost, so attatch that to the manifold.

I'm searching for the wiring diagram for you, I'm in school with nothing else to do.

You can tighten the wastegate actuator rod to bring it up to 5-6 psi. I'd make sure your boost gauge is accurate though.

I couldn't find the diagram, might have been purged? I'm sure olderguy will help you out, he helped me alot.

how do i check if its acurate, what should my vac be?
i vac at about 20-30 depending on throttle and what i just did driving wise,
it seems fine,
anyway to check it?

My vac when warmed up is usually 22 and sometimes 23. I think altitude might make a difference though, not sure.

we are probably at just about the same altitude as you

as for the boost issue, I think it just might be the boost gauge. Its a 30psi gauge, and its meant to read higher boost levels, there are only 3 lines between 0 and 5psi, so its probably running 5psi but since the boost level is so low, it probably isn't too accurate.

and if it is too low, then a larger exhaust would help flow a lot more air, you can only put in what you can put out.
