im going to be saying that about my injectors....

Right now I'm running 1.8inj's w/no restrictor in my AFPR boost line. I think it's around 100psi of fuel pressure at 10-11psi of boost and running like a raped ape.

I'm thinking of swapping in the 310's and the restrictor and running it for a week or so before I bring it up. Without the restrictor I can't dial down the fuel pressure below 100psi at that boost. It's not broken now, so why fix it? But I'd really like to see where I'm at after I gain back some adjustability... maybe back to like 90psi on the 310's.

I didn't like the mid-range AFR with the 1.8s even at 110psi.

at 80-90psi with the 305s the mid was a lot flatter...then dumped fuel after 5.5K rpms. Since I was using a Vortech it was hard to tune out, but at those boost levels, I'd rock the 305s.

Since I'm running megasquirt now, I'm seeing 85% duty cycle at 6psi...I can probably fandangle it a little, but I doubt I can push much more than 8-9psi out of them....then I'm going to be pissed that I didn't get larger ones and rock the same 11psi and see how my old dynos compare.

I'm pretty certain that 15 psi blowing out into the engine bay is just as slow as 5 psi blowing out into the engine bay :)

Far! What is atlanta, like 10 hrs?

reference: ghetto pipe vs. high dollar unobtainium pipe

yeah yeah yeah. :gay:

that7guy 04-29-2007 06:52 PM

Scott, do you have time to help me with the walbro and the AFPR sometime this coming weekend? Im putting in the intercooler and high flow cat this week.

Braineack 04-29-2007 06:57 PM

yeah, just give me a call whenever....I can do it after work as well, just hit me up since I'm like 10 minutes down the road now.

Braineack 04-30-2007 12:12 PM

Everyone in the NOVA area wanna meet up at a certain time and caravan? So Me, Sevan, Brad & Matt wait for Sam to get his ass up, then meet up with Ken on the way up?

that7guy 04-30-2007 12:53 PM

Sounds like a good idea. Ya'll have been there before and I tend to get lost in places outside MD.

y8s 04-30-2007 04:35 PM

raise your hand if you got GPS.

I'm down with a caravan. Steph said my pipe will be done and shipped tomorrow so I will have it by the weekend.

Braineack 04-30-2007 04:39 PM

i used to have it on my phone....but the drive is pretty straight forward...

that7guy 04-30-2007 04:51 PM

Woot! JR cat comes tomorrow, car gets running, intercooler install, some tuning and tweaking, get that fuel pump and AFPR in and I should be set. Lets just hope my clutch holds.

samnavy 05-02-2007 10:31 PM

All right!
Mapquest says 240miles VaBch to Newark.
I'll be going straight up the Eastern Shore, so probably won't be able to meet for caravan with anybody.

Tom, if there's a specific time in the morning that you want me there just to streamline things, let me know... otherwise I'd planned on leaving around 6am and arriving at 10am. I think I can average at least 60mph early on a Sat morning. I'm totally stoked about this whole thing!

Braineack 05-02-2007 11:54 PM

60 on 95? you mean 80mph right?
