43 psi fuel pressure @ idle ok?
Hi guys,
I'm getting 43 psi @ idle after installing a walbro 190 HP fuel pump with stock FPR. Is anyone else getting this? I heard 35 psi is normal correct? Thanks, t.t. |
You should have checked the pressure before you installed the 190 so you can compare, pressure will vary from car to car.

I get 39 to 40 indicated on my prosport gauge.
|
are you idling at 20~hg.? 850rpms?
what do you get when you pull the vacuum line on the fpr? |
I'm idling around 950 rpm. I'm pulling the signal between the metal tube and the stock FPR. Is the signal between the FPR and the rail a better place?
|
actually I take that back, the FPR is on the rail. so I guess I'm really getting 43 psi at the rail...
