Default Best way to store a spare engine...

...when you don't have room for an engine stand?

Looking for something that would keep the engine upright and stable, easy to move around, and give reasonably good access for cleaning it up, etc. My spare engine has been sitting on the floor of my workroom for a while now and I'm tired of it being in my way.

I was thinking of building a little wooden cart on casters, but couldn't decide if I should make it so the engine just rests on the cart, or actually have the machine shop down the road weld together a couple of supports to bolt into the sides of the engine.

Thoughts, pictures, plans?

I use the larger Harbor Freight moving dollies for less than $20 with a couple of short boards and a strap around the engine to keep it stable when moving it around.

I put an old tire on a harbor freight moving dolly and set the engine down in the hole.

I strapped a Nissan KA24 to a cheap skateboard and hauled it around that way.

I had mine in a rubbermaid tub sitting on a few 2x4s and a 4x4 and it was very stable.
