Default double din gauge cluster

So i'm removing my deck and putting an amp in the trunk instead, so thats opening up a lot more dash space that i'm going to make a double din cluster for that i can fit 6 gauges into. I'm going to angle it up and towards the driver for a better view of the gauges. The top left corner is flush with the plastic, and the bottom right is two inches out.

question: any ideas on how i should mount this in there? my best idea so far is to make a sleeve for it then epoxy that inside or use the current holes inside to bolt the sleeve inside.

would anyone else be interested in one of these? I can make them out of steel, stainless, or aluminum, and im going to weld the corners up and smooth them for a nice finish. I can also cut the holes for gauges in whatever layout you want, or leave the face blank for you to do.

Thanks,
Evan

Not sure how the 94+ consoles are but I was able to use existing bosses on the console and plastic self tapping screws to hold my block off panel in place.

1, there are or was forum members/vendors who sell what your proposing

2, you can't really see the gauges down there which is why most people either mount gauges in their vents or on the column/dash. I ended up machining my console and a delrin piece to mount my gauges where the air vents/hazards were so I can actually see the gauges when driving. It also happens to look a little more 'factory' IMO.
