Anyone here own one yet?

Im pretty involved with them here just wanted a place to chat. Pulled the gearbox and replaced the flywheel in <1 hour easily today.

Amazing car to work on... So who else?

I have the lightweight kit. Still building it up though.

I'm at the point where I need to decide if I'm putting my turbo NA motor in or if I should sell the NA whole and put a 4w or 6d motor in. Decisions decisions...

Shouldn't I go k20/k24 if I was going to do it right the first time?

Do you have a 6d long block, full car wiring harness, and ecu that could be in Santa Cruz by next weekend? (or 4w long block, I'm sure I can steal EO2ks msm harness/ecu)

I'll post a build thread at some point but its really just like Lego's so far.

Vlad has what you need, and I know where he lives We can fit a 6d long block, full car wiring harness, and ecu in the back of the subaroo, no problemo. Say the word my friend.

If you can find a shortblock, I've got a 6D head in my garage. Intake cam needs to be reinstalled though

I have one, should be arriving at the end of the month. Glad to see more kits in Australia I know the kit car rules there are insanely hard to get by.

I don't own it, but put together most of one - does that count? Donor car was levnubhin's, though not much of his drive train is left now. Didn't use his motor, transmission was replaced, and 4.1 diff was swapped for a 3.9. Is using his MS2 that I think was built by Brain. Still on the Illumina/GC suspension setup that came on the donor. I have a set of Xida gen2's on order for my own car, but I'll throw them on the Exocet to see how much difference a real suspension setup will make.

I know the guys at Exomotive since they are local - cool bunch.

Here's a video of it in action at a local track (Atlanta Motorsports Park)

Still waiting on the new body work, so it's running nude right now.

Finally had a proper drive of the first build now it has brakes, and what is astonishing about the whole thing is how it doesnt feel that fast but goes fast and the brakes are bullshit powerful. This one is an NB8B donor and its very much like an Elise in that it doesnt feel fast or powerful.. Its like.. You open the throttle and nothing amazing happens but the scenery goes past very very quickly.

Subscribed, I love these things. I'm very interested to see who will be the first to do a K series Exocet. We would like to do one eventually.... That would be a wild setup to say the least.
