Dyno Day Plans
Anybody doing anything interesting on the dyno to test power changes? Curious to see what myths or power secrets might be revealed.
If the first two runs go well, I'm going to swap out my cheapie turbo muffler for a straight pipe... and probably depress myself.

I wasn't planning on doing anything other than maybe tweaking my ignition map. I think there won't be much time to screw around too much. Although doing things like swapping mufflers would be cool to see the differences.

I'd considered putting the "flowmaster" on to see the difference BUT I already know it hurst my spool. It'd be work for nothing. Just curious to see how much this turbo muff is killing my power over a straight pipe. If it's a lot, that'd be the incentive to get a quality muffler.

Last time I dynoed I was running FP/Bipes/FMU combo. made 200rwhp at 11psi or so.
I'm going to try to run around the same boost level to see how a tuned MS map can make power gains throughout (hopefully). I'm logging 11psi at 3600-3800rpms, whereas I wasn't hitting that before untill 4.2K
the rest of the system is the same (turbo, manifold, piping, exhaust, etc.), minus the removal of my lightened flywheel, so it should be a good before/after.
