Acura RDX 410cc Injectors

1 Attachment(s)
They fit with a teeny bit of work. Maybe too small for most turbo guys, but a incredibly high quality injector for cheap. They will flow closer to 600cc at 60 psi.

~$160 shipped brand new from Acura.
$30 for adapters, $30 for pigtails.

Going on my 12:1 compression BP-4W running E85. Just had to add about 1/2" of additional spacers under the rail. Used trans bolt washers.

Now that I have a little more money, this might be worth it for fuel economy in my daily. Hmmmm.

Can you get us links to the adapters and pig-tails, please?

Adapter hats:

RDX injector hats for B/D series motors

These are pretty common, lot of other vendors sell em. Best price I've found though.

Denso Acura RDX Injectors

Select "Clips Only" there.

Of course, you can order the whole shooting match from them, injectors and all, but you'll save ~$25 getting the squirters themselves from a dealership online.

I removed the lower o-rings, the tapered part seals into the lower injector seal very well without it. Tight fit though.

yeah, uh, so, uh, if they are Denso's, then they are NOT Bosch EV14's...

Techsalvager 07-21-2012 07:39 PM

they have own their model number for the newer nippon denso fuel injectors, I forget off hand but I've seen it.

hustler there are denso injectors that are 310cc~ that are cheap and are direct fits, all you need its adapters for the newer toyota plug

fwMiata 07-21-2012 10:28 PM

or run RX8 425's that drop in, IIRC they are the newest gen Denso's as well.

Oops, you are right. They actually look almost identical.

They are still pretty damn good injectors. The Acura white papers credit the switch to these injectors with some substantial improvements in fuel economy, emissions, and power. /shrug

Found out today that spacing the rail out to fit these means the upper plenum on 99/00 manifolds can't be installed or remove with the rail in place. I'm guessing a thermal intake manifold gasket will remedy this by pushing the manifold another 1/4" away from the head.

Going to be running these as well, thanks for sharing. It looks like you still have the little plastic "L" protrusions on the injector bodies right under the adapters. Is that correct? I cut those off on mine to get the length closer to the stock injector, but I'm curious if I will need to space them as you did.
