head room problem
#2
im 5'9~5'10 if I've had my wheaties, I know you are considerably taller than me, but i sit nearly straight up and my head used to hit the roof. This seat is the 10 degree kirkey econ, 100 bucks and 60 for the slip cover, as it is, it sits 4 inches lower than stock, and i retained the stock sliders, I plan to find a good spot for it and remove the sliders so i can basically sit on the floor, mostly for ***** and giggles but also because my rear view mirror actually obstructs my view, SURPRISINGLY so . .
tho i must say
Best $160 i ever spent on my car.

There are no seat lowering bracket kits out there for the miata I know of.
Samnavy is the king of low. Cut foam out of the seat, bend the front of the bracket lower and notch out the front hole. Get a race seat and bolt it to the floor withoutsliders. Remove the seat standoffs from the floorboard and bolt a seat to the floor that way for even more headroom.
How low do you want to go and why do you want to be that low? 2" helmet rule or what?
I'm 6'2 and you can read my rollbar thread here.

It talks about modifying things to gain more headroom.
