AEM F/IC Wiring Help - 1990 Miata

Calling all who have put the AEM F/IC in their miata, and those who just know the wiring like the back of their hands.

The F/IC calls for two sensor inputs. The Camshaft angle sensor and the Crank angle sensor. Now on my 1990, there is only one sensor, and it is a camshaft angle sensor. Through various technical documents I've read, the angle of the crank is determined through the angle of the cam. There is also further confusion in that most documents calls the sensor a Crank Angle Sensor, even though it is clearly on the cam. SO, here goes the questions:

1. Is the sensor on the camshaft considered a cam angle sensor, or is it compensating and only returning a cam angle signal?

2. Does the F/IC required a cam and crank sensor input to function properly, or will it work with just one?

3. There are 4 wires coming out of the cam angle sensor: black/green (ground), red/white (power), white(unknown), and white/blue (unknown). Does anyone know which wire is the actual signal wire. Or is it possible out of some strange weird setup that one of the wires is sending a cam signal, and the other a crank signal? If so, which ones do what?

4. If both the cam and crank wires have to be working, would it be wise to just hook up the crank and cam angles to the one sensor? My gut tells me no.

I'm going to be fully documenting this and posting it online for anyone in the future who wants to go the F/IC route. Thanks for any help you can offer.

For anyone interested, problem is solved. The white wire coming off of the cam angle sensor is the CRANK angle signal, and the Yellow/Blue (made a mistake earlier, though it was white/blue) is the CAM angle signal.

I only had the crank sensor wired up on my '00. Lots of good info here:

It's pretty much identical to the 1.6 install. Just go to AEM's website, download the instructions for the AEM EMS for your year of car (it has full wiring diagram), and then start wiring it up.

Dude, I'm telling you that you are going to have to have to get the ECU pinout diagram for your 95 miata. AEM includes a full ECU pinout diagram in the manual for the EMS for the 95 miata. Once you get that pinout, then installation is simple. At that point you just follow the F/iC instructions.
