All that and he's running a stock radiator? That's kind of surprising. Interesting modified elelbrock IM. Is that the Honda one?

I saw that on ebay. Anyone else think that man is quite... odd for keeping the stock cams in? Imagine what a set of cams would do for that car.

I was thinking the exact same thing, this one looks like it's got slightly less $$ dumped into it though.

^Yeah, and he couldn't sell his either which was a shame. IIRC, he was down to $17-18K before the partout. Would have been a good deal if that is what one wanted to build. Same with Robino's car.

Remind me in the future to not dump $20K+ into a turbo Miata. It ain't ever coming back to me unless it's in pieces.

That one's been on ebay a few times. Has a salvage title and I think a few stories.

i don't know who's it is, but it looks like it has a pro-tech sticker on the fender. plus i know they like to use that super expensive hks f-con standalone at that shop. one of the guys that worked there was into miata's too. i'm sure you could call the shop and they will have the info you desire.

okay, i've seen the vid now. that is protech performance in austin.

I like how close the downpipe is to the unshielded brake master... that's going to get soft pretty fast

it's obviously a drag/street toy. that setup makes 1/4 the heat a turbo rotary does. (which they specilize in) they know all about heat and it's effects. i'm sure it's been addressed since the video.
but good hatin' anyway's.

Well you don't really need a stock radiator unless you're running on the track right?

10K? Salvage title or not with the minor work it would take to make it a proper car that's gotta be a hell of a deal. Gospeed rad, heat shielding, smaller more streetable turbo and it's golden.
