Anyone ever heard of a "aero" exhaust system for a Miata?
 

Got an opportunity to pick one of these up. Looks to be a 3" system. Anyone ever heard of them? Loud?

From the size of that muffler, it's gonna be loud.

I was hopeing the Turbo would keep it quiet.......maybe....:confused:

Worth a try, certainly. It might work out, you never know until you try it.

I really like the look of that, Id go for it

it looks 2.25-2.5" tops and it doesn't look like it's for a miata.

it also looks like it will be a flow restriction and be loud.

I saw these on speed channel garage show w/sam memmelo. There's no packing in these things- it's chambered, just differently than a flowmaster that sends the exhaust bouncing off walls. My car spooled 200-400 rpm sooner across the entire boost range when I swapped out the flowmaster style muff for a turbo style glass packed muff.
