My understanding of wilwood pad numbering: first two digits are shape, last two are thickness. 7812 and 7816 are same shape but 12mm vs. 16mm thick.

Here's a dumb one: Is the date that is printed on the top of a bottle of RBF600 a "use-by" date or a "born on" date? I'm not sure if the bottle Amazon just sold me is brand new or expired last month. Obviously I'm not interested in using the latter.

Brake fluid shelf life begins when air hits it, so the clock starts when you open it.

OGRacing and 949Racing both carry RBF600. Buy from your supporting vendors

We use 60 days for race cars, 90 days for street cars. We write the open date on the cap with a sharpie and are careful to rotate stock. Spares box for the track always has a new bottle because that one tends to sit unused. We use Motul RBF600 exclusively.

Shelf life for opened is decent, if 0% humidity...

Open and use the same day, leftovers are for flushing jobs.
I.e. never but larger bottles.

Cool I like that idea. rotate bottles through in the shop when bleeding for track days and keep an unused bottle in the spares.

I run ATE for the same reason I run T6. Its on amazon prime and shows up at my door in a day. I also haven't had any problems boiling it. If I ever need to upgrade I'll be going up to RBF600

+1 to Johnny's comment. Go to MT.net to poll experienced vendors for high level tech support then buy off Amazon to save $5 for a trackday that cost you $300. Be nice, support those that support you.

Not cool dude. I have spent thousands of dollars with you in the last two years, so pardon me if busting my ***** over a $20 bottle of brake fluid seems the tiniest bit ridiculous to me.

Not that it should matter, but I bought it from Amazon to get it in two days anyway, but then shelved it because of the date issue.
