Also, what do you guys think of low temp thermostats?
It might work for drag racing, but anything else it's useless IMO.

I suppose I could test my oil cooler when it gets warmer by looping the oil thermostat back to itself instead of through the oil cooler. See how much higher the temps get.
you'd hate yourself if it leaked when you put it back together ;)

I think I'm going to start by just doing the scooper, sealing everything up with a shroud, and leaving a hole in the shroud for the oil cooler. If that doesn't keep temps in check, then I'll get a bigger oil cooler.

I need to get my FM hood painted so I can put it on the car.

I have my oil cooler mounted in front of the passenger side wheel behind the bumper just like Mike does in the pictures above. I have only be able to make 1 track event since the new motor/turbo/oil cooler setup but i wasn't able to get the temps above 230*f

Im going to laguna seca in march and will test it out again, ill be bringing a dremel and rivet gun as well..

Keep in mind, in the rain it gets wet, causing mad steam at stop lights/signs ect.
link to the best/same naca duct? I could spray it when I get my bumper and hood shot again, and it will be somewhat discreet.

I also have no mixing-manifold, so I get 100% cool water in the motor.

Nice prices...now I have more ideas.

I'm leaning toward brake ducts in the bumper, ax-ing the r-pack lip, then running a splitter with a home-depot spoiler and a cut out in the front for more air!

a cut-out in the home depot lip, with a splitter under it, is fairly sleeper-esque.

I already hate the oil system for how much effort it took to assemble it without leaks in the first place. In the end, I fixed the leaking NPT threads by coating them with permatex ultra grey instead of teflon paste. It seems that the high pressure oil would just push the teflon out of the threads and the oil would start bleeding out.
