ARP head stud and head installation clearance?

I am getting new head fasteners. I'm pretty sure the stock head bolts are stretched too much, causing my head gasket to leak.

I am just wondering is it possible to install a head with ARP studs in the block and the engine in the car? I can remove the coils and camshaft position sensor, but I am not sure if the rear water neck will clear the firewall.

yes it is. if nothign else take the rear waterneck off there.

well, i'm sure it will fit fine with nothing on the back, but i am not in the mood for installing the rear water neck with the head on the engine if i can help it. I suppose i'll have to pussy up and do it if worse comes to worst. This has been done before, correct?

Ideally I would prefer not to have to remove everything in order to remove and replace the head when necessary.

The head goes on fine with ARP studs with the factory rear waterneck installed (the little one with just a heater core output). If you have a coolant reroute then it's gonna depend on how far your reroute housing sticks out.
