hey scott, im in the middle of a 1.8L torsen II swap and im having one hell of a time trying to figure out how to get the axles in.

i can't seem to muscle the diff side in all he way and it seems impossible to bend and flex the hub side to fit after the diff side is in....any tips ?

Scott

Hammer FTW just tap it in. Try not to dislodge the cap that seals in the grease for the CV

these axles without stubs, correct? or stubshafts?

I just beat the shit out of mine with a bfh. With the one-piece axles, you need a little finese.

whaddya mean? if you mean it looked good, so you left it on ... then pull your head out of your ass and change em because they are years old and probably gonna leak after messing around in there. If it is a new seal, you may have nicked the circumfrence of the metal that contacts the outer edge of the seal? did you put a little bit of grease on the rotating surface to keep friction down on initial use?
