it's been leaking for years. i just go tbored enough today to think about posting about it and maybe finding a solution.
car gets driven on wet days, since it parks in garages; new condensor arrives tomorrow.

car is relatively rust free. but i did find bubbling under my rear mudflap.
the previous owner wanted the car repainted, so she took it to macco. they repainted it alright, without any prep work whatsoever.
i keep the carpet pulled back in that spot after it rains.

I love how you folks up there in the northeast speak of rust as a variable. As in "this vehicle has almost no rust." I half expect that a doctor from that region might say "well, good news, Mr. Braineack. The tests have confirmed that you have almost no brain cancer."
Well, love isn't the right word exactly- it fills me with sadness and pity when I hear of it. I simply find it to be a fascinating tribal custom. Like in the Canadian province of BC, where a young man proves his suitability as a mate by sodomizing a bull walrus while singing the opening ballad of Gilbert & Sillivan's "H.M.S Pinafore" in front of the bride's father's home.
