Default Its mah burfday - Got miata present.

My sister decided to get me something for my car, seeing as how I am constantly spending money on it.

Anyone ever use one of these things?

Bras are good at protecting the front of the car... and good at gathering crap under them and damaging the front of the car... ;p

If you use it... pull it off and clean it and under it regularly.

This is what I am most concerned about.

How readily does it collect crap, does it mildew, can I just wash it with the rest of the car or do I have to pull it off, does water underneath dry quickly or does it sit for days?

sell it on m.net and buy something you'll use. Then again if you have to park on the street in BK it might protect your nose from other peoples bumpers a bit.

+ my sister would never get me anything for my car
- a bra is about the last thing anyone would get me
+ at least it's your sister and not your gf--she can't dump you when you tell her you dont want it

They do far more bad than they do good.

I had a body guy tell me to never use them.

They're great for when you wreck the nose of your car and don't want to get it fixed. Put on the bra, and it looks like new.

+1

I would only use one for a road trip, and take it off as soon as I got back. Otherwise the paint gets scuffed over time

Good one JasonRobo, no seriously. Probably the best response in this whole thread.

---------

Thanks for the bday wishes guys.

Someone mentioned selling it. Sadly thats not an option. I would sell it, for all of the 90 dollars that its worth but that would be a real big F U to my sister who actually put thought into this gift. I will keep it and put it on once or twice and see what happens. I usually keep my car garaged and clean, so I am not worried about it ******* the paint up because I don't mind the extra effort.

The PO had one on my car. The whole front bumper has scuffs and cracks in it from the stupid thing.
