Default New top going on tomorrow

Well I got my new top on tuesday. I have the directions and will attempt to install it. Today I tinted the back window.

So wish me luck. I have never done anything like this, but i do all my own work on cars so I feel that if I take my time i'll be good.

Good luck with that man. I hated swapping my soft top so much. I haven't even put the finishing touch on it. Been a year too. The little corner looks like crap.

Well isn't this thread just a great big bundle of encouragement! I was gonna swap my original '94 top for a nice glass Robbins one come Sunday morning...

Just letting you know. I brought the frame inside the house and swapped it while watching a movie.

Definitely take the top frame off the car and do it in a comfortable spot. This will also allow you to get to the hard to reach spots under the B-pillar. Not as bad as everyone makes it out to be in this thread. Took me about 8 hours total. I still haven't finished a couple things on mine either =P

Well, its done. I started about 8:30am and stopped at 2:30. It wasn't that bad. I just took my time, walked away when I needed to. It looks awesome. Alot better than the tan top that was on it. The tinted rear window looks great too.

Now I'm waiting for my lower spoiler to come. I tried to upload pics but I'm doing something wrong. Will add later.
