Bipes Install Troubleshoot NOW WITH PICS:)

So I got this from aMaff (you on here?) and installed it. No problem soldering and it went relatively quick for it being my second time with this kind work around the car. So take a look at my connections can anybody see any issues outright? I did my best to get them all visible.

My car is hesitating and has trouble on and off with idling. That is the worst of it. The problems seem to be inconsistent and I'm hoping it's just a bad connection. I do recall Sam Navy having an issue in a previous search and I was hoping you'd chime in.

So beyond the driving issue above I did a diagnosis of the 9/10 jumper options and I discovered something peculiar that might be the source of the problem.
Timing Pull: lights up in relation to boost and seems to work

RPM: Holds the same as the stock gauge at idle with three lights. that is when it's able to hold idle

AirFlow: Hold at four lit LED's @idle and generally follows the amount of throttle I give it

AirTemp:This is the crazy one. When I switched it to this one with 9:closed/10:open the car did NOT start

Did I fall for some common mis interpretation of the wiring? Any help would be appreciated

What install guide did you follow?

From my crusty, old memory I believe one of the wire colors is labeled incorrectly. The # on the ECU is correct, however, and you just ignore the wire color.

air temp is 2P, which is Red/Grn, it think the colors are wrong on the diagram....you HAVE to go by the Pinout, not the colors.

Hokay so this is my problem ja?

Alright. Switched it up the right way and it was great. I had a bit of ping so I drove it home much more carefully. How much can it ping without doing any damage? Car is 100% better. That wire turned out to be the cause. I'm probably going to re set the timing and tune the air flow map

any ping is bad ping.
