Bofi Racing playing with my emotions
I just ordered an MS3 basic from Bofi Racing and this what they sent me.

Has this happened with anyone ordering from Bofi Racing? I have contacted them and will keep you guys updated on their response. |

Yeah I have, I'm waiting for a reply. Just giving people a heads-up on what they might expect from this company, and wondering if anyone else had similar experiences.
I mean, yeah, they may suck, but this kind of stuff happens sometimes. The test of a business is in how well, and quickly, they fix the issue. And if it happens often. If they're sending mistakes out daily, or if they email you back saying "yeah, nah, MS lite is same thing, deal with it" then yeah, i'd say go hard on them. But if they man up and say "sorry, we fucked up, we'll cover postage to send it back and we'll send you the right one" then all good. Cliff notes: give them a chance to fix it. If they dont, go nuts. |
MSLabs instructions? Are they resellers?
|
Yep. I got my MS3 Basic from them and everything was gravy, contact them and they should be able to help.

You guys are right. I was pretty upset earlier when I made the thread. Everyone makes mistakes and it's not a big deal. I contacted them earlier so I'll keep you guys updated on what they say.
What's weird is that I ordered a clutch and flywheel from them, and the rest of the packaging in the box looked normal but it was just the ECU that was soaking wet. It might have been dropped or something when it went through customs And yeah, they are resellers. |
I wouldn't be surprised if customs pulled something like that, my ECU was very well packaged and wasn't rifled through at all.

. They'll likely want to check what it is. |

So it could be something as simple as a pick list error, and you make them out to be scammers, and you do it before giving them even the slightest chance to rectify the issue to your satisfaction.

Hey Chaps.
In our haste to be a speedy shipper we've shipped out the wrong unit - we're reviewing the processes that have made that possible and have implemented fixes already so this shouldnt re-occur. No one likes getting wrong stuff in the post, no one likes the pain of having to return it and we really hate causing that pain and irritation. Were paying for return shipping and we'll be sending out the correct ECU as soon as this one comes back. Perhaps a little uncouth to chime in on a forum post but at the end of the day, we're all human and we're dealing with the growing pains of our success in the marketplace. Thanks to everyone who's given us the benefit of the doubt. Dan |
