Air Temperature Sensor bad/ overheating
So my car was doing it again. Whenever boost would start to come on it felt as if the injectors were cutting out and I was hitting the rev limiter. Before it was happening because the ground for the Air Temperature Sensor was broken. Got a new wire for the ground and it ran perfect.
I took it into Gashead and they said my ATS was bad(i had checked the ground and it was fine so I knew it was something else) hopefully FM will send me a new sensor. The turbo kit is probably like half a year old... so you would think they would. On top of that on the drive from Houston to San Antonio yesterday my car was getting pretty hot.
I was doing between 65-80. I have a brand new koyo 2" radiator so I was wondering if the heat issue was from the ATS. The car normally runs between 92-96. It was running 100-110 the second half of the trip. It is limited to 116 then it goes into a safe mode. So the temperature was pretty high.
What do yall think?
