Won't open with the key or from latch in side. Any other way to get it open?

I locked my keys in my trunk once, I cut a hole in the bottom.

Locksmith can't help? A bit of money but better than cutting the car. Might be covered by insurance too.

Sheesh, what it this, M.net?

#1. Pop out grommet on bottom, and use long wire to trip latch. Pain in the ***, and lots of frustration.

#2. Drill out dimple in back of license plate. Use needle nose, and trip latch rod. Easier, but you gotta drill.

+ ****** 1. there is two drain grommets which maybe covered by the muffler heat shield. remove heatshield...better yet throw away heatshield and open your trunk.

Remove fuel tank cover, tape a flashlight to the end of a long stick, screw a hook into the long stick, reach down the tunnel with long stick from passenger side, open latch.

Now if you still have the trunk lining in place, you have extra hooking to do.....

the drilled out dimples work mine was already drilled and just using my finger and the key was able to get it to open. Then I bent down the arm a little so it had a more positive pull. the slight bend made the arm a little shorter so instead of opening right at the limit of the key throw it now opens in the middle of the throw.

my 03 has a emergency trunk release inside (glows in the dark too). Not sure who could even fit in the trunk in the first place...

On my '95 my tools slid to the back knocking the metal hook off of the latch. There are two holes at the bottom of the trunk that are pretty easily punched out with a screwdriver and some muscle, then you can pull the hook or unbolt the latch itself (like I had to)

I hope that helped.
