bouncy AFR from LC1 on NB gauge
 

HI,

After upgrading to 305cc injectors and RX7 AFM... my NB gauge LED reading has been hovering with 4-5 LED at WOT. I am using an Autometer NB guage with 20LED.

At WOT, all 4-5 LED would hover aorund 12-13.5 AFR, so the question is what is the AFR I should be making note of?

turn the idle mixture screw back maybe 1 full turn until you see around 14.7-15.0

you have to drill a small cap out....looks like the idle speed screw on the TB.


did you also adjust the clockspring so it was 5-8 clicks softer?

Yes.. the RX7 AFM was adjusted for good idle. The NB gauge shows perfect AFR while idle and cruise, just when I get into boost with heavy thottle, it will show 4-5 LED instead of just 1 LED light.
