Bouncy WBO2 numbers

Hi guys,

I have a Zeitronix WBO2 and the reading I get fluctuate a lot. At idle it floats around 14.5-18.5 and sometimes spiked to 25-26. Under boost it bounces around 11-14. Could a vacuum leak cause this?

Thanks,

t.t.

Does the RPM fluctuate as well? Surging idle means a vacuum leak or too lean of a fuel mixture. Both will cause it to surge.

nope rpm seems pretty stable even at idle.

What engine management, injectors, all that good stuff?

Greddy manifold/turbo
RX-7 IC
1.8 injectors (testes and cleaned)
BEGI AFPR
Duel feed fuel rail
EMB with Autotune
Profec A Boost controller

Well there is your problem.

What he said might be correct, but I've found that placement of WB too close to turbo can lead to fluctuating numbers on gauge.

oh I forgot to add that I have a RM DP so the WB is located pretty far from the turbo.
