brake question

well more like double check

so today when I was about 5 mins from home the car felt weird, I was sitting on a small hill and the car didn't feel like it was trying to roll, well I go to brake in enter my neightborhood and the brake had no pressure but I double tapped the brake and it had pressure and was at first thinking it was all in my head, until I tried it again and it fell to the floor before starting to stop but if i did a quick pump it stopped fine.

So I check the brake fluid when I got home and it was half way between min and full. Well checking the car I could feel a drastic different in temps coming from the driver side rear.

It doesn't appear to be leaking fluid(as of right now) but I am guessing that the inter seal went or something. Can anyone confirm if its dead or not? Or atleast what maybe wrong. I already check to see if maybe something weird happened with my e-brake cause its always sucked but I never really use it anyway.

Thanks

Bryan

Look for a leak somewhere in the system, you might have a seized caliper if one is hotter than the other. You might have air in the system if the fluid level got that low so you might just need to bleed the system. Fill up the resevoir again, look for leaks and then rebleed it all after you have fixed any issues.

I am thinking seized caliper due to the heat output and the fact that my brake fluids been at the same level(haven't been around brake fluid and through about topping it off)
