brightest h4 bulb?
I have my Cibie housings and was curious what the brightest bulb I can use, legal or otherwise?
|
I want to say something like Phillips Vision Plus' that are only sold in the UK? I'll have to find the link later on.
H4s are legal period in a car in the US. |
I thought there are some bulbs that are not "legal" for street use, or was it that they get too hot for the housings? I can't remember, lol!!
|
its because those stupid 120 watt bulbs burn the housings, yeah.
I just got a $70 ebay HID kit and was done with it, i genuinely wonder when I'm in other ppl's cars as to whether or not they ACTUALLY have their headlights on or not :giggle: http://a328.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...784fad8a1f.jpg |
I'll check to see if mine are the 85/55 watt bulbs, I think that is as hot as most suggest.
|
I'm pretty sure I'm running 80/100w, and they have given me no problems. I still wish I had HID's though.
