Bye, Bye, MAF
Finally removed the mass air flow sensor (thanks to the megasquirt). Here is my Lowe's special intake, a temporary set up until I go turbo. I've laid the radiator back in hopes of running my intercooler pipes over the radiator. The cover panel was my first attempt, I cut it out of some scrap fiberglass RV siding that I picked up at my parent's store. I'll make a cleaner one once the turbo is in.

I'll be working on that issue this week... |
anyone think the IAT sensor sitting right near the radiator is gonna get heat soaked and throw off the the air temps? I was a lil concerned about mine and it's much further away and off to the passenger side of the tb

Do you know if it possible to relocate the mafs instead of removing it (without using the megasquirt) anywhere away from the header?
|
of course you can, but what an entire waste of time. effort, and money.
|
More importantly, why would you drag out a 5 year old thread to ask that question?
|
Hey, it's paul!
