A/C Leaking on Passanger Floor.

So I have had an issue with cold water leaking on my girlfriends feet. I looked to see if it was a hose loose but I see a big compressor is their a drain or something I am missing? Also I notice in the fall time I have to heat with the a/c on or else my whole car fogs up any recommendations?

Thx guys.

Still new to the site but will be posting my photo's of my turbo-set up after we finish the install this week. Used Hydra FM set up with ACT stage 2 Begi fuel system PWR Radiator should be nice setup.

There is a drain hose near the trans tunnel. Check to see if its blocked or unhooked. When this happened to me, it was just the hose pulled off the nipple on the catch pan.

where is the trans tunnel located I look up and see a round thing elec wires and no hoses or tubes. I do see a metal clamp lever thing but looks to take off a pan thing on the side of the a/c I guess.

there should be a hose going to that black grommet thing.

that is near the ECU at the top left.

k so drain that to a pan ? or make sure its hooked up. Because the water comes from behind the glove box and seems to be when I am on the gas or just coming off of it. then it leaks.

found it where u where talking about in the picture. it comes out of the black box there and into the whole in the photo so drain that should relieve said pressure and not leak.

Here is a better solution, but first a little leson. When you have the A/C on it removes moisture from the air going through the evaproator. This is in the air box behind the glove box. When this happens water builds up. It's the same theroy as a cold glass of what ever on a hot day. You get water pooling up correct. If it is in a closed box where will it go? It has to go some where right? Hence the draintube that you ar eall trying to find. What would happen if that tube get cloged? You got it wet feet.

Now here is the most likely solution. Put the car up in the air. Now get under there and find the tube that comes from the same area as the glove box. Get your self some compressed air of some kind and blow into that tube. You may have to hold a rag over the hole while using the compressed air. Be prepaired to move fairly quickly or you will get wet

Have fun and try not to get wet.

Have a great day,
Jared

Thx So much guys will check it out this next week when finishing the turbo install and ECU Dyno set up on my hydra system at the shop. I'm sure my mechanic knows he has a few miata's sounds like a common problem. Will post pictures next week when I am done.
