A/C Slush Box - Water Spills into Passenger Floorboard

When I run my A/C, it will begin to sound like a slushie in my dash then when I turn or brake water spews into passenger floorboard.

I checked the drain hose under passenger side dash per another owner's recommendation, and it's clear. I even clamped the hose and the water is still spewing out.

Anyone else had this problem? I removed glove box to begin diving into the problem, but before removing unnecessary components, wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem.

Thank you!

After some more reading, looks like my condenser may be full of leaves/pine needles. I'll try and fit a Shop Vac on the black plastic nipple of the black reservoir and suck out what's in there.

That hose, it's clogged. Something is preventing water from going down that hose to drain. Pull the hose off and blow air through the end of it. Evaporators get nasty over 20 years, this is a very common issue.

Pull the cover, and be prepared for some very nasty shit. If that thing has been clogged for a while, chances are there's some disgusting sludge in there. Possible dead rodents as well.

Thanks man. When you say "pull the cover", are you referring to the black plastic box that has the small metal removable clamps? I tried briefly but couldn't get the top off - maybe there's more - I only pulled three. Had to remove glove box to get to it.

Shove a coat hanger up into the condenser where the hose connects to it. Make sure you have a bowl underneath to catch the gunk coming out.

Yes. you are probably going to have to remove the glovebox. It's what, three screws? There's a bunch of those pain-in-the-ass metal clips around the two halves holding it together.

You want to be able to wipe out all the sludge and slime in there. It's going to smell otherwise.

No screws on the glove box, just pops out. Start at the bottom.

It's a '94. It has screws.
