Cage or roll bar?

to fit the proper door bars. if you're not going that route, forget the cage, get a roll bar. miatacage.com has some of the best cages I've seen, they hug the roof/a-pillar really close, and give great clearance for the dash bar.

oh well... i guess ill keep it then!
so yeah... door bars will not work unless they will only go on the bottom. again, i dont want any of metal to be so close to my hips.

Perception is not always reality. Cages are for trailered race cars. Your car is a street car. Get a rollbar.

If you do put in a cage make sure you end up with something that is legal in at least some legit racing class. If you ever go to sell the car and the cage is not up to snuff you really, really limit your target demographic...especially since you are welding it in there. Do it right or don't do it
