Can anyone confirm what I need to hook up my M-Tuned Fuel Rail on a 94?
Would like the cheapest way possible that will get the job done...I want to run it dual feed (to both ends of the rail)...I guess I just need to get a "T" fitting to branch off the one fuel line into two and run the two branches into each end of the rail? What do I use to connect the fittings? Teflon plumbers tape? Info on sizes of the fittings/lines is appreciated, thanks!

you can get the 5/16 barbed T fitting at Pepboys for $3.99. no teflon needed on that.
on the rail itself you will need 2 fittings, I'd get 90's. 3/8" NPT on one end and 5/16 barbed on the other. teflon tape the NPT fitting side. and you'll need a few feet of 5/16"id fuel INJECTION hose. |
Nice, thanks!

Anyone found these 90 degree elbows with 5/16 barbed and 3/8 npt? I've checked Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, and Advance Auto...no dice. can anyone confirm a local source so I don't have to drive all over town? thanks.

try BEGi

I would recommend a local hydraulics fitting store. Most will have it in one piece, if not they will certainly be alble to do it in 2 pieces.

Advance Auto Parts has them. I know. I used to work their. They are kept behind the counter. You have to ask someone who knows something to get them.

the route I went wound up being very expensive... I really don't recommend the AN and stainless braid route unless you are made of money.
